It was my first Independence Day in USA and I was clearly excited. Juliana had been in DC for that day last year and she suggested to go somewhere else. With our friends Emy and Judith we decided to go to Ocean City, MD. We had heard lot of fun and cool things about this beach and were mad excited to spend the 4th of July there. We took Emy's car and not really knowing the way there, started off. It was beautiful and hot weather, perfect for the beach. We sang in the car and stopped in McDonald's lol- the perfect roadtrip :)
We got there around afternoon and were totally ready for the whole day at the beach. There were lot of people there, but that made it only more fun. It was my first time to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and dang that water was salty!
Later that night there was a little concert on the beach and everybody was singing and dancing along. At midnight there was fireworks and soon after that the perfect beach day was over. We chilled on the boardwalk for a little while, but to beat the traffic we headed back home around 2AM. About the drive back home...well I don't remember much as Judith and I were knocked out on the backseat lol. I didn't have my DC driver's license that time and it was Juliana's and Emy's job to get us back home safe. I must say, girls, you did a great job ;)
