In the end of May, I said farewell to Sydney for 6 weeks and headed up to Queensland where the weather is still nice and warm. I am officially done with school now and decide to earn some money for the rest 2 months I have left until my visa expires. Coming to Brisbane also meant that I can join fun and work, as Gold Coast and some of the world's most beautiful islands are quite close. I was blessed enough to find a family who needed a babysitter/au pair for just a couple of weeks, so it was perfect.

I have been here for 2 weeks now and I really like it. The family I live with and work for, is just amazing. They are so chilled, nice and the kids are adorable. Julie just turned 3 and Toby is 9- months old, they are  the cutest! Another great thing is that I am free Fri-Sun which gives me enough time to explore. Last weekend I spent lot of time in the city center, what a cool city Brissy is. There is even a man-made beach right at the center of South Bank. Lots of shopping malls with a great vibe. I also met two girls through a Facebook page for Brissy Au Pairs. We decide to do a weekend trip up to Fraser Island, which I am really excited about. We are leaving tomorrow morning and come back late on Sunday night. Kate was there last week and she said it was gorgeous, which I have also learned from Google search, lol. Looks like Paradise on Earth :) Ok, off I go to pack and hopefully have some great pictures to post soon.
